The 2010 election is closed.

Thank you for voting for your fellow Arkansas STC members who have volunteered to serve the chapter as officers in 2010! The ballots will be counted and the election results will be announced at the next chapter meeting (place and time to be announced).

The nominations are closed and we have a slate of candidates for the upcoming year.

Please vote to elect those persons who have volunteered to serve as officers for the Arkansas Chapter of the STC. All active members are encouraged to vote on the election page.

Please nominate people to serve as officers in the Arkansas Chapter for 2010. Any current member may nominate anyone, including themselves. Nominations are open now until mid-September. You may submit nominations (and read more about the offices) on the official STC-Arkansas Election site.

We will meet at American Pizza Pie, 9709 Maumelle Blvd., Maumelle, AR 72113, on July 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome, including children. (For directions, click the American Pizza Pie link and use the live Google map to plot your path to Maumelle. The restaurant is on Maumelle Blvd. / Arkansas Hwy 100, less than a mile west from I-430.)

We are looking forward to having Dan Charles as a guest to help us sort out what's happening with the STC.

Agenda -- if you are not following the discussion on the mailing list, feel free to look at the July discussion in the archives. We will be discussing:

1. Where the STC is heading, both locally and internationally.
2. Plan meetings for 2009-2010.
3. Zero-based chapter budget, as mandated by the new STC financial rules.
4. Identify officers for 2010.
5. Other business -- if you have a topic to cover please post it on the mailing list.
